THE PIC METHOD
Change that begins with presence
The PIC Method is an embodied approach to meaningful change built around three practices: Presence, Embodied Intention, and Kind Commitment. Rather than starting with what needs to be fixed, we begin by noticing what is here, listening for what matters, and choosing a next step that can be taken with care.

THE PIC METHOD
Presence. Embodied Intention. Kind Commitment.
The PIC Method offers a simple way to meet change without immediately reaching for more pressure, discipline, or self-improvement. We begin by noticing what is here, listen for the direction that feels meaningful, and then choose a commitment we can actually carry forward.
Presence
Begin with what is here.
Presence is the practice of noticing before trying to change anything. We make space for what you’re experiencing physically, emotionally, and mentally, without needing to immediately judge it, explain it, or make it different.
It gives us a more honest place to begin.
Embodied Intention
Feel into where you want to go.
Intention gives change a direction. Rather than focusing only on an outcome or goal, we explore what you want to create and how you hope life will feel as you move toward it.
The body becomes part of the conversation—not just the mind deciding what you should do next.
Kind Commitment
Choose the next meaningful step.
Commitment turns intention into something lived. Instead of demanding a dramatic transformation, we look for an action that is within your control, meaningful enough to matter, and realistic enough to practice.
Kindness doesn’t make the commitment less serious. It helps make it sustainable.
A DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIP WITH CHANGE
Growth doesn't have to begin with pressure.
A lot of approaches to change start by identifying what is wrong, what needs to improve, or who we think we should become.
The PIC Method starts somewhere else.
We begin with attention. We notice what is already happening, reconnect with what matters, and let the next step emerge from a clearer relationship with ourselves.
That doesn’t mean avoiding challenge or commitment. It means learning to move toward change without relying on force, shame, or constant self-correction to get there.
Notice before fixing
Presence cultivates awareness, which gives us information that urgency often misses
Choose from connection
Intention becomes more useful when it reflects what actually matters to you.
Build through practice
Sustainable change grows through repeated, workable choices rather than dramatic resets. That's where kind commitments come in.
PIC METHOD COACHING
Bringing the practice into your life
Coaching creates space to slow down, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and get clearer about what matters now. Together, we use the PIC Method as a practical framework for exploring where you are, where you want to move, and what kind of commitment can support that movement without adding more pressure.
Sessions may include conversation, embodied inquiry, reflection, simple awareness or movement practices, and practical experiments to carry into everyday life. The process is collaborative and responsive rather than prescriptive.
Coaching may be supportive when you are...
- navigating a transition, decision, or new direction
- trying to create habits that actually feel sustainable
- feeling stuck between knowing what you want and taking action
- reconnecting with movement, creativity, or embodied practice
- noticing patterns of over-efforting, pushing, or starting over
- wanting meaningful change without sacrificing spaciousness and wellbeing in the process
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Sometimes the work begins simply by creating enough space to hear what is asking for your attention.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A thoughtful, collaborative place to begin
You don’t need to arrive with the right answers, a perfectly defined goal, or a detailed plan for what needs to change.
We’ll begin with what is present. Through conversation, reflection, and embodied awareness, we’ll explore what you’re noticing, what matters to you, and where you feel drawn to move next.
From there, we’ll look for a commitment that feels both meaningful and workable—something you can carry into your life and learn from between sessions.
Come as you are
Start with what is real for you now rather than where you think you should be.
Stay curious
Sessions are exploratory. We make room for questions, uncertainty, new perspectives, and what emerges along the way.
Leave with something to practice
When appropriate, we’ll identify a simple commitment, experiment, or awareness practice to bring into daily life.
BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE
What becomes possible when change starts with listening?
You don't need to have everything figured out. Presence is enough to begin.
